Sidney Health Center Laboratory is certified through the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) and follows established standards for quality control, proficiency testing, staff competency, instrument maintenance, specimen identification, and result verification.

Laboratory Hours

24-Hour Laboratory Support

Our Laboratory is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to support patients receiving care through Sidney Health Center’s Emergency Department, inpatient units, and other hospital-based services.

Have a Lab Order from Your Healthcare Provider?

If your doctor or healthcare provider has ordered laboratory testing, you may come to Sidney Health Center Laboratory for routine blood draws or specimen collection during our outpatient hours:

• Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Closed on Holidays

Please note: Outpatient hours apply to routine laboratory visits. The Laboratory continues to provide 24-hour testing for patients receiving emergency and hospital care.

Community Service

The lab is also involved in community services areas. The community has an opportunity to participate in a health screen during their birthday month where they are offered a panel of tests at a reduced rate. Interested individuals can sign up for this program anytime at Sidney Health Center Admissions. The outreach program also goes out to businesses to draw these health screen panels.
