Personal Assistance

The Personal Assistance services provide support for daily living activities, helping individuals with tasks such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and household chores. Tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, our services promote independence while ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment. Payment for these services can be made through Medicaid or private pay.

NON-NURSING SERVICES PROVIDED:

  • Bathing assistance
  • Grocery shopping/errands
  • Hygiene; skin care
  • Cooking/dishes
  • Laundry/change bedding

Payment for Personal Assistance Service may be through Medicaid or Private Pay.

  1. For Medicaid coverage, you must be eligible for Full Coverage Medicaid. Contact the Office of Personal Assistance (OPA) in the Community Services Building located at 1201 W Holly St. Ste. 2 to determine eligibility.
  2. If you do not meet Medicaid eligibility, you may choose the private pay option. Pay out of pocket for personal assistance services. Personal Assistance will bill insurance companies ONLY with pre-authorization. The client assumes responsibility for filing any third-party payers or insurance companies without a pre-authorization.
