Sidney Health Center Cancer Care and the Foundation for Community Care are hosting the annual Light the Night event on September 18 at the Foundation for Community Care in Sidney. This event raises funds to honor cancer survivors and remember lost loved ones while supporting quality cancer treatment in Richland County.
The public is invited to stop by the Foundation for Community Care, located at 221 Second Street Northwest in Sidney, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. There will be a luminary display honoring those affected by cancer as well as information regarding local and state resources for those going through cancer.
Lanterns sold by the Foundation in memory or honor of cancer patients will illuminate the building, and garden solar lights can be purchased for personal displays. These items are priced at $10 each through the Foundation's website or office.
Reynold's Market will be serving smoked bacon/cheddar brats, baked beans, chips, water and dessert for $10 from 5:00-7:00 PM.
